KARL KNOPF has been involved with the health and fitness of the older adults for over 30 years. He is the author of 5 fitness books for the lay public, several text books, and numerous articles. Dr Knopf has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and is often quoted in major newspapers such as L A Times and Washington Post. He has served as a consultant to the Stanford University, Time-Life Medical Books, the state of California and very useful TV exercise series ‘Sit and Be Fit’ (on the US Public Broadcasting Service). He is the president of the Fitness Educators of Older Adults Association of USA and has a long history of success at his university, his health studios and with the adults he actually works with every single day.
