Norman Vincent Peale (1898-1993) is widely acknowledged one of the most influential clergymen of the 20th-century. He was closely indentified with the Marble Collegiate Church of Manhattan where he remained for 52 years as one of New York’s most famous preachers.
Peale’s simple, optimistic, and dynamic sermons were regularly broadcast, first on radio and later on television. Peals also published several best-selling books, including The Power of Positive Thinking, which has sold over 20 million copies and has been translated into 41 different languages.
